Gary Davies, Investor Relations
Mr. Davies is President and founder of Trans West Equities, a multi service investment banking firm. He has been founder and Trustee of Western Omni Trust, an international investment company specializing in public stock offerings, mergers & acquisitions. Among his clients have been Bliss & Laughlin Industries (NYSE), Greyhound Corp. (NYSE), Texas Commerce Bank, and numerous smaller companies seeking public financing. Formerly a VP at Solitron Devices, Inc., the stock traded from $2 to $400 during his tenure, which also oversaw nine completed acquisitions. Educated in Math/Physics at Brown University, he has presented two technical papers at IEEE. Mr. Davies subsequently oversaw several domestic and international operations for General Instrument Corp. In addition, he was a founder, officer and director of Mezzanine Capital, Ltd. an off shore closed end investment fund trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. He maintains relationships with numerous Broker/Dealer firms and Investment Banking firms, especially in New York where he commutes regularly.
Rob Dixon, Executive VP, Director
Mr. Dixon has extensive experience in software development, project management, and executive management. As Vice President of funBug, Inc. he managed the design, development, and deployment of the original funBug entertainment platform. As President of Radiate Software Inc., he managed the development of large-scale Internet-based transaction processing systems and web sites for the gaming industry. Prior to Radiate, he co-founded and managed Tier Technologies Inc., a systems consulting firm that took which now has a market capitalization of over US$200 million after going public in late 1997. Previously he performed strategic systems consulting for companies including Intel, Levi Strauss & Company, Hewlett-Packard, and Texas Instruments. He is the author of "Winning with CASE: Managing Modern Software Development," (McGraw-Hill, 1991). He has also worked with Adobe Systems, Inc. for many years as a developer, writer, and consultant.
Kim Gourley, CTO
Mr. Gourley is a seasoned professional in Information Systems with an extensive background in Enterprise Development, Technical Architectures, Object Orientated, , Client Server, N-tier, Web solutions and Rich Internet Applications. He has consulted with Fortune 1000 companies including Intel, American Airlines, Motorola and American Express providing them management consulting, business analysis, system design and development, as well as, technical and methodology training. In 1990, Mr. Gourley formed his own consulting company focused solely on the development of web-based software for ecommerce, electronic cash, games and marketing systems. He has strong analytical, technical, business and leadership skills and has worked on various technical platforms and has built several corporate infrastructures. His business knowledge includes a background in financial, utilities, accounting, manufacturing, merchant banking, ecommerce, shopping carts, game platforms and marketing applications.
Tom Johnson, VP Sales
Mr. Johnson has been at the forefront of sales and marketing trends for more than 25 years. He is owner and President of TAK Sales Company Inc., a successful sales and marketing company that represents more than 2,500 different wholesale products. With a degree in economics, he started his career as a computer programmer for a national insurance company. During the past six years he has been actively involved in the development of creative marketing strategies and their implementation exclusively for Internet companies. His contributions were instrumental in the successful launches of several Internet based ventures. As a Sales and Marketing consultant for WinStreak, he worked closely with senior management and was key in implementing their U.S. marketing strategy. Working as Director of Marketing for an online game and contest company, Mr. Johnson was responsible for promoting the company ís products and worked with the contest design programmers helping in contest development. As V.P. of Marketing for MegaChain.com, an ASP offering a viral marketing program, Mr. Johnson created and implemented their sales and marketing plan. He also directed marketing for AAA Casino, an online gaming site, more than doubling their customer base.
Tom Latham, President, COO, Director
Mr. Latham has extensive experience in management, sales and marketing and consulting that spans over 30 years. He has worked for Fortune 100 companies plus has successfully spearheaded a number of startup operations. As a Senior Vice President at American Express, he was instrumental in the success of numerous key business initiatives. These included management of the worldwide travelers check business; setting the business strategy and planning for a new health care services division; design and implementation of a fraud detection strategy that saved the Company $20 million in its first year; development and delivery of the business plan to support granting of credit and collection of receivables; and development of the strategic technology plans for 11 major worldwide card initiatives. For these efforts, he had management responsibilities for a staff in excess of 300 with budget of over $60 million. In addition Tom has held key management roles with 6 startup companies across various business sectors (software, services, healthcare, retail, supply chain) and the successful IPO of a technology services company.
Bill Lavin, CEO, Chairman
Mr. Lavin has extensive experience in management, consulting, sales and marketing and software development. He has worked for Fortune 1000 companies plus spearheaded a number of successful startup operations. As a member of the American Express management team, he directed the development of the ëGold & Platinum Year End Summaryí products, managed the launch of the marketing systems for the ëOptima Cardí and headed the development of their Card Acquisition and Worldwide Marketing Systems. After American Express, he co-founded TIER Corporation, a Bay Area consulting firm. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, he was instrumental in taking the company to over US$20 million in revenues by its fourth year in operation, and which later realized a market capitalization of over US$200 million after going public. Mr. Lavin also held several key positions including President of MasterCoin Corporation whose charter was to develop one of the first eCash products and Vice President of MegaChain, a public company focused on online marketing solutions.
Melissa Weinraugh, VP Marketing
Ms. Weinrauch has extensive experience in Internet Marketing. She has provided marketing direction and support for several of the largest gaming sites on the Internet and her contributions were instrumental in their growth and success. Ms. Weinrauch has successfully covered all aspects of Internet Marketing including the online and offline media buying campaigns for banners, print, radio and TV advertising; management of the Affiliate Program for over 500 affiliates; coordination of the design, production and purchase order process for marketing collateral, business cards, letterhead and other promotional media; the analysis and the monitoring of the competition and their promotional activities; spearheading the web development for the creative, navigation and graphic design and the optimization of meta tags for better search engine placement; and the hiring training and supervision of marketing staff.
